Serbia is not part of the Dublin III agreement. Based on exchange of data between EU member states, people can be deported to the first country where they left their fingerprints. Serbia is not part of this agreement, so if you have your fingerprints taken, you will not be sent back to Serbia if you later ask for asylum in another country (as of August 2025).
