The network was formed in February 2017 to support the asylum seekers five month long Right To Live -demonstration on Helsinki Railway Square.
Still today in 2023, deportations are being organised. For more information, please contact the network.
Stop Deportations volunteers consult asylum seekers in their cases, those who are in fear of being deported and those in detention centres. Stop Deportations gives alerts ahead coming deportations and organises demonstrations. The network has no funding, office nor phone, it is based on individual volunteers communicating, consulting and informing each other and immigrants.
