Denmark > Medical Assistance

As an adult asylumseeker you only have the right to get immediate/emergent health care, which is a basic right.
For adult undocumented migrants and people who stay underground or have got a rejection in their asylum case, access to healthcare and other public goods is limited and you only have the right to get the immediate health care. Furthermore doctors are not supposed to report to the police that you are undocumented, but some might do this.

Germany > Medical Assistance

Undocumented migrants are excluded from the regular health system in Germany. Medical Aid Groups for Refugees offer practical medical assistance for refugees and migrants:
- who are afraid of visiting a doctor's practice because they don't have residency status or papers,
- whom, despite of owning valid papers, ‚Sozialamt’ refuses to cover the costs of health care,
- who, through the experience of torture, war or exile, need psychological support.

Asylum seekers have free access to medical care in Greek public hospitals. Everybody has to pay 5 Euros to see a doctor. With the "white paper" you can only access public hospitals in emergency cases. Otherwise you have to visit NGO run polyclinics (PRAKSIS, Doctors of the World) which have doctors or might arrange for you to visit a public hospital in difficult cases.
